EPT Warsaw 2009 Day 2
Welcome to Warsaw Poland, home to the latest leg of the 2009 European Poker Tour.
It is day2 and although the weather may be cold outside but the Poker inside the Hyatt Regency Hotel has been warming up nicely. EPT Barcelona-champion Carter Phillips (pictured) is currently chip leader as day 2 gets underway.
There are some big names here is Warsaw, and as play got started at 12:45 many of them had yet to take their seats.
Among those enjoying a leisurely breakfast were CPN favourite Scotty Nguyen and Gus Hansen.
To give you some idea of the high standard of players at the EPT in Warsaw, among those who failed to make the cut after day1a and b was WSOP Europe double bracelet winner John-Paul Kelly and Mexican pro JC Alvarado.
From the original field of 203, going into day 2 152 players are still in with a shout of winning this tournament and a first prize of €358,644
