As is quite often the case in Poker, you just never know who is gonna win till the fat lady sings. In this case the metaphoric fat lady in question was Canadian Erik Cajelais last night. He picked up a WSOPE bracelet and a cheque for (£104,677) after becoming the winner of the WSOPE Pot Limit Hold’em/Pot-Limit Omaha event 2 in London.

Day2 of the WSOPE $2,500 PL Hold’em/Omaha event finished last night with Mats Gavatin leading the chip count with 448k. A quicker than usual tournament means only five players remain to come back tomorrow not the planned nine.

Well done to JP Kelly. The man is in the form of this life after picking up a second WSOPE braclet in one year (he also won the £1500 Pot limit Hold em bracelet earlier in the year. After conquering big stack Fabien Dunlop heads up in the WSOPE £1000 No Limit event he walks away with a cheque for £136,803.
