In a recent interview with Jesse May from the UK based internet radio show The Pokershow Live (www.pokershowlive.com), Doyle Brunson expressed his opinion for the need to switch the location of the WSOPE.
“They need to change the venue of the WSOPE to somewhere besides London”, Brunson said “The kids just can’t come here it’s too expensive, the weather’s bad. They need to have it in Barcelona or Italy somewhere”

After an arduous recent Poker World Tour where his favourite stop off was Budapest, Brunson also stated that he would play tournaments as long as the were in Vegas or California and was through with travelling (probably)….

He may have a point, but now the dollar is strong against the pound, we personally think Doyle is talking nonsense.
If you can afford a ticket to  play in the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE), but can’t afford a flight to play in it, you need to find a new accountant!
